I have wanted to study abroad since perhaps my sophomore year of high school. At first I wanted to go to Ghana, determined to somehow step foot on the continent of Africa. Fortunately I was diverted from that road to Africa (props to my mom) to instead follow a better suited road for France. I have been to France once before on a band trip. We went to Paris for three days in a whirlwind visit including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame. Needless to say, I got a taste of France but I was not satisfied.
Now, five years later, I am fulfilling my dream of studying abroad thanks to my awesome family and their persistence in making me go to class and turn in paperwork on time. This blog is for them. To my dad who is living vicariously through me, my mom who would be very upset (understatement of the century) if I did not keep her posted on everything I do while I am there, and my sister who will see all there is to see before she comes out to visit.
